Important safety
information for Mudra Band‍

Before using Mudra Band, please review the Mudra Band user guide and retain it for future reference. 

WARNING: FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS CAN RESULT IN ELECTRIC SHOCK, PERSONAL HARM, FIRE, OR DAMAGE TO YOURSELF, PEOPLE AROUND YOU, THE MUDRA BAND OR OTHER PROPERTY. REVIEW AND FOLLOW ALL THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS BELOW BEFORE USING MUDRA BAND. 

HANDLING

Handle Mudra Band with care. Mudra Band contains sensitive electronic components and can be damaged if dropped, burned, punctured, or crushed. Mudra Band may chip or crack if dropped or subjected to forceful impact. Avoid heavy exposure to dust or sand. Don't use a damaged Mudra Band, as it may cause injury. Mudra Band is designed to conform to the curve of your wrist, do not stretch or flatten it. Mudra Band is splash-resistant and can withstand water splashes encountered during daily activities like washing hands or light rain. However, it is not suitable for showers, swimming, or submerging in water. Avoid prolonged water exposure to prevent potential damage.

REPAIR

Do not open Mudra Band or attempt to repair Mudra Band on your own. Disassembling Mudra Band may cause bodily harm, and degrade or impair water resistance. Should your Mudra Band become damaged or malfunction, please contact Mudra Band support so we may best assist.

BATTERY

The internal battery is not replaceable. Do not attempt to replace the Mudra Band battery on your own, as doing so may damage the battery, and cause overheating or injury. Batteries should always be recycled or disposed of safely and separately from household waste, and never incinerated.

CHARGING

To charge your Mudra Band, use only an approved Mudra Band Charging Cable in a well-ventilated area. Use of a damaged Power Cable or Power Adapter or attempting to charge Mudra Band in the presence of moisture can result in electric shock, personal harm, fire, or damage to Mudra Band or other property. Do not cover Mudra Band with a blanket, pillow, or other covering while charging. If you have a physical condition that affects your ability to detect heat against the body, take special precautions and consult your physician prior to using Mudra Band. Remove immediately should Mudra Band become hot or uncomfortable.

MEDICAL DEVICE INTERFERENCE

Mudra Band contains components, including radios, that emit electromagnetic fields. Mudra Band, and the Power Cable contain magnets. Electromagnetic fields and magnets can cause interference with medical devices, such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Consult your physician and medical device manufacturer for information specific to your medical device and whether you need to maintain a safe distance of separation between your medical device, Mudra Band, and the Power Cable. Stop using Mudra Band or the Power Cable immediately should you suspect any interference with a medical device.

EXPLOSIVE AND OTHER ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS

Avoid charging or using Mudra Band in a potentially explosive environment, including but not limited to areas with high concentrations of flammable gases or substances such as grain, dust, or metal powder. Exposing Mudra Band to environments having high concentrations of industrial chemicals, including near evaporating liquified gases such as helium, may damage or impair Mudra Band functions.

CHOKING HAZARD

Mudra Band may present a choking hazard to small children. Please be mindful and exercise appropriate caution. 

SKIN SENSITIVITIES

Some people may experience reactions to certain materials used in jewelry, watches, and other wearable items that are in prolonged contact with their skin. This can be due to allergies, environmental factors, extended exposure to irritants like soap, sweat, or other causes. You may be more likely to experience irritation from a wearable device if you have allergies or other sensitivities. If you have known skin sensitivities, please take special care when wearing Mudra Band. One is more likely to experience irritation from wearing Mudra Band if worn too tightly. Remove Mudra Band periodically to allow your skin to breathe. Keeping Mudra Band elements clean and dry will reduce the likelihood of skin irritation. If you experience redness, swelling, itchiness, or any other irritation or discomfort on your skin in close proximity to Mudra Band, immediately remove the device and consult your physician before resuming wear. Continued use, even after symptoms subside, may result in renewed or increased irritation. Do not use the band if the skin beneath or surrounding the band is not intact.

ELECTRODES

Mudra Band contains electrodes that are used to measure electrical signals from your body. These electrodes are sensitive components and should be handled with care. Avoid Damage; do not drop, burn, puncture, or crush Mudra Band, as it can damage the electrodes. Dropping or subjecting the device to forceful impact may cause chipping or cracking of the electrodes. Additionally, avoid heavy exposure to dust or sand, as they can interfere with the electrode functionality. Using a damaged Mudra Band may result in injury.Do not attempt to open Mudra Band or repair the electrodes on your own. Disassembling the device can lead to bodily harm and may compromise the water resistance of the device. Keep the electrodes clean and dry. Regularly wipe the electrodes clean with a microfiber cloth and a few drops of alcohol. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or submerging the device in water. Proper handling and care of the electrodes will help ensure the accurate functioning and longevity of Mudra Band while minimizing the risk of personal harm or damage to the device.
